The monument
It was the Ferguson tractor that was the first to turn the Danish soil and thus helped to make Danish agriculture, and thus Denmark, rich.
This history about the little grey Ferguson was so interesting, that it made me open this museum in 2000 here at my native farm Ankerslund.
And in 2009 I put a 12 meter high monument over the museum. It is made of 13 cubic meters of concrete, 5 tonnes of galvanized iron and 30 well-maintained and unrestored grey Ferguson tractors included in this unique memorial.
I would like to encourage everyone to send a thought for the thousands of farmers who have sat for hours on a Ferguson tractor to create the agriculture and the prosperity we all enjoy today.
In respect.
